Guidelines
Our vision is to utilize state-of-the-art encryption technologies, specifically, Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), combined with cryptographic protocols to build Web3’s leading private computing ecosystem.
In that spirit, we support open-source projects that use confidential computation as a key element in their app to improve the ecosystem and give other participants the opportunity to learn from and build on your work.
Anyone can apply for a grant from Fhenix. That includes individuals, independent teams, governments, nonprofits, companies, universities, and academics.
The Process
Application
In your application, be sure to clarify how your project will be a benefit to the Fhenix network, typically through furthering decentralization, open sourcing code, or helping to secure the network. Grants are milestone-based. Thoughtful applications include suggested milestones for funding.
Application Review
Our team will review all applications on a rolling basis, determine if more information is required, and then schedule a call with the team if necessary. At that point, we may revert with additional questions or ideas.
We receive many applications and work as quickly as we can to process them. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible with next steps, typically within 2 weeks.
Decision
Applicants will be notified via email whether their proposal has been accepted or not.
Criteria for Evaluation
Fhenix welcomes a variety of ideas and use cases, and we’re excited to see what you will create using Fhenix technology. Here are our main evaluation criteria:
- A clear value proposition and vision for the project
- An innovative concept
- Feasibility only on Fhenix
- Preferred categories (sorted by priority)
- DeFi apps
- Bridges
- DAOs and Governance
- Web3 Identity
- Games
This does not mean that grants outside these categories will be automatically denied; it simply indicates our current priorities for the chain.
